RIVERBANK — November 2, 2026. Riverbank’s largest municipal park, Jacob Myers Park on the Stanislaus River, lists shorter access hours from October through March than during summer.

Seasonal gate schedule

The city’s published chart shows the front park area open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. during October–March, instead of 8 p.m. in April–September. McRitchie Trail and the dog park close at 5 p.m. during the colder months.

A separate dog park restriction

The dog park and associated trail are closed on Wednesdays under the city’s posted schedule. These hours matter even if the park’s river access and other walking routes are open.

Fees and activities

Seasonal vehicle parking fees apply Friday–Sunday and holidays in April–September. The park offers river fishing, boating access, a walking trail, picnic sites and an organized group campsite; check current permits and water conditions before arriving.
